By Small and Simple Things

Hello to all!!

The Summer in Madrid is crazy!! The Spanish sun has finally come out to scorch our souls. But everything is all good because all of the bull fights are finally over!! Which means it will be a little less hectic on our walk from the metro to the church.  Spanish culture is cool and all but it can be a little annoying as a missionary. Haha.

This week was good like always.  But also a little hard.  I'm not going to lie, the last transfer of your mission can be a little tough.  But last night we had a great lesson with a member family that actually ended helping me more than anyone.  There's a returned sister missionary whose parents are less active so we went and visited them.  We knew that she has been kind of struggling to be involved with things and all of that after her mission.  So we tried to think of something to share that could help her.  Well we shared a video that is called "The things that matter" and then shared this scripture in Alma 37:6, "but behold I say unto you, that by small and simple things are great things brought to pass;".  It was a great reminder that really joy in life are when we stop and enjoy the little moments.  By the simple things we do like pray and reading, we can have God more in our life!

This week we had a lesson with a new investigator that went super well!! We also put a baptismal date with a little girl so that's exciting. We are trying work more with members and we are seeing that it is going really awesome!  Every day I see the blessings from being a missionary more and more.  I'm so grateful for all of these experiences!

Sorry this is so short!! More next time. But here is a photo of the old district.
Take care!!
